Zakarpattia Wine Tasting

Zakarpattia is one of the most renowned winemaking regions of Ukraine, with a unique microclimate similar to that of the famous Tokaj. Tasting cellars near Shayan offer a wide selection of local wines — from dry to dessert, all crafted from traditional recipes.

For true connoisseurs, we recommend visiting the wine cellars of Berehove (60 km) — "Staryi Pidval" (inside a mountain, over 3 centuries old) and "Zhaivoronok" (a 50-meter cellar carved into rock, 16th century). Tastings from 200 to 700 UAH.

Also worth visiting are the wine cellars of Serednie (75 km) — 1.5 km of underground vaults under UNESCO protection. Here they produce the famous "Troyanda Zakarpattia", "Isabella", and "Serednianske" wines.
