Zakarpattia Excursions

From Shayan, you can arrange excursions to the most interesting places in Zakarpattia. Palanok Castle in Mukachevo (83 km) is the most famous castle in the region, covering 13,930 m² with exhibitions, art galleries, and legends of Princess Ilona Zrinyi.

Khust Castle (18 km) — the largest castle ruins in Zakarpattia, atop a volcanic hill 174 m high. Vynohradiv Castle (30 km) — atmospheric ruins among vineyards. Nevytsky Castle (100 km) near Uzhhorod — one of the oldest castles in the region.

In May, be sure to visit the Valley of Narcissi (24 km) — the largest lowland mass blooming of narcissi in the world. Excursions abroad are also available — to Hungary and Slovakia.
